    Black Ice Advisory in place Monday; Many Fremont County roads remain slick

    The National Weather Service office in Riverton issued a Black Ice Warning for Sunday night into Monday after the recent winter storm dumped a few inches of fresh powder in the area.

    As of 8:00 a.m. Monday, South Pass currently has a black ice advisory. Many Fremont County roadways are slick. Large sections of Interstate 80 remain closed this morning as well.

    A major pile-up involving more than 50 vehicles was reported Sunday evening on I-80 between Rawlins and Wamsutter.

    * WHAT...Areas of black ice on roads tonight, where snow was able
      to melt earlier today. Icy patches will be possible, as
      temperatures drop into the single digits tonight.

      travelling tonight.
