William (Bill) Stange is retiring after 26 years at Porter’s Mountain View Supply.
Since getting into the business in 1995, Bill has helped Porter’s grow. What started as a small partnership of fewer than three employees, Porter’s has become a corporation that employs more than twenty-eight individuals. When Bill started there were 5 employees in a 600sq/ft building. Porter’s now has two locations and over 30,000sq/ft of showroom and warehouse. What a ride it’s been!
Bill has definitely lived up to Porter’s motto of “Service AFTER the Sale”.
After retirement, Bill plans on spending quality time with his wife Linda, two daughters, Beth and Julie, and his 5 grandkids. Much of this time will be spent at his small cabin in Minnesota where he will relax and do the things he loves.
Porter’s will be having a retirement lunch on Friday, July 16th starting at Noon. This is open to the community and will be held at the store on East Sunset in Riverton. Stop by, grab some lunch (burgers & dogs), and wish Bill a happy retirement! There may even be some Mountain Dew on hand.
Fun Fact about Bill: He is a huge collector of Mountain Dew products!
Bill will be dearly missed by everyone! Don’t worry though. Bill will still be working from time to time at the store…when he feels like it. 😄
