(Powell, WY) – Join Berry Bryant’s friends, family, and classmates on Sunday, March 20th at 2 pm on the Northwest College Campus for the bench dedication in her memory. The granite bench is located west of the Campus Mall near the Nelson Performing Arts Building as a permanent monument.
On the 25th anniversary of her death in October 2021, Bryant’s family and friends visited the campus for a small-group luncheon and planted daffodil bulbs near the garden and bench site, hoping they’ll bloom in time for her birthday, March 21st.
“We would rather celebrate Berry on her birthday rather than the day she was taken from us,” shared her friends and classmates.
The College and NWC Foundation have also collaborated with Bryant’s family and friends to honor her legacy by establishing the Berry Bryant Memorial Scholarship Endowment.
