It may be Wolverine territory, but a badger decided it would make for a good hideout Friday morning.
At 11:17 a.m. on Friday, July 27th, Riverton Police and Animal Control received a call about a badger at Riverton High School.
Officers were able to locate the animal just outside of the RHS gymnasium, by the Riverton Aquatic Center. The badger was trapped by Animal Control and turned over to the Wyoming Game and Fish Department, who plan to release the animal in a more suitable environment.
