ATTENTION, Fremont County Readers! (Do you like to read? This means YOU!)

The Bookmarked Writers Festival is just around the corner! It is happening on SEPTEMBER 10 & 11. It’s called a Festival because it is a celebration. A celebration of the writers who call Fremont County home, and a celebration of the art of writing.

We have 26 Fremont County writers participating this year by reading their poetry, fiction, and non-fiction work, selling their books at the Book Fair, teaching COUNTY WIDE Zoom storytelling workshops for all of our 4th-10th graders. (If you are an educator and have not received an email about this, reach out to the Lander Library!).

There will be giveaways (Festival Bucks good towards any purchase during the Book Fair and gift certificates to bookstores all over the county), raffles (a year membership to The Lost Chapter in Lander and a Mark Spragg book bundle), and Wyoming native, Mark Spragg as our keynote speaker, as well as a dinner at Cowfish with Mark (tickets are $45 and cover the price of your dinner).
