(Fremont County, WY) – If you didn’t notice, Wednesday was a bit breezy around Wyoming.
Atlantic City took the top wind gust award, with a whopping 101 mph gust yesterday according to the National Weather Service office in Riverton.
Meanwhile, Fort Washakie had an 86 mph gust, Muddy Gap topped out at 81 mph, and one spot near Lander had a 74 mph gust.
Elsewhere in the state, southeast Wyoming had wind gusts over 90 mph Wednesday. An area near Cheyenne’s Warren Air Force Base recorded a 105 mph gust!
