    Arapaho Truths wins 7th award

    Arapaho Truths has won the Mitakuye Oyasin, “All My Relations,” Inclusion in Filmmaking Award. This is one of the top three prizes at the Central States Indie Fan Film Festival (CSIFF).

    This is the seventh award for the St. Stephens School film that was produced in collaboration with Boston-based Moonstar Productions.

    Inclusion in Filmmaking Award! “Mitakuye Oyasin” is a phrase from the Lakota language meaning “All My Relations.” It reflects the world view of interconnectedness held by the Lakota people of North America and is a concept expressed by ceremonial people in many other communities as well.”

    This international film festival is held in Rock Island, Illinois, and celebrates diversity. They seek films with “innovative, progressive and balanced stories from and concerning woman, the LGBTQ community, seniors, and those of Latin, African, Asian, Middle Eastern, and Native American descent.”
