Applications for artwork at new CWC building are open until tomorrow

At Central Wyoming College the new Agriculture and Animal Science Center needs artwork and the applications are being accepted until tomorrow. The building will provide a space for agricultural based classwork as well as the CWC Rodeo team. The Wyoming Arts Council is looking for an artist to provide sculpture type pieces for outdoor communal gathering spaces for students.

The Wyoming Art Council website says that the budget is around $82,000 and selections will be made in February.

According to the webpage, “The committee is interested in work that highlights the programs housed in the building and that celebrates the growth of these programs.”

The search is national but priority will be given to Wyoming artists.

Here is more information about how to apply.
