    Ancient Chinese art form now offered at NADAP fitness centers

    What is Tai Chi?
    An art of embracing the mind, body and spirit– Originating in ancient China, tai chi is one of the most effective exercises for health of mind and body.

    Although an art with great depth of knowledge and skill, it can be easy to learn and soon delivers its health benefits. For many, it continues as a lifetime journey.

    Tai chi is non competitive, non judgmental ~a wonderful activity for all ages~ making it an ideal socializing and sharing time

    Why learn Tai Chi?
    Hour by hour, tai chi brings in more benefits and enjoyment than most other exercises. It is an ancient art with great depth, yet requiring no special equipment.

    People of any age or physical condition can gain better health, enjoyment and progression to higher level. It is even fun and can be practiced alone or in a group.

    What’s more importantly, tai chi helps you to like yourself more, which, in turn, leads not only to better health, but also harmony within yourself and with others.

    You’re in luck! Northern Arapaho Diabetes Program now offers Tai Chi in both of their Fitness Rooms.

    The following NADAP staff are certified to teach this class:

    Rob Valdez, Elizabeth LeBeaux, Jacob Logan, Ryan Bowstring, Jameson Kaulaity, and Clarence Oldman.

    The Tai Chi for Health Institute training is comprehensive and specific for our programs. All instructors are required to be updated every two years to maintain the certification.
