    AMBER Alert issued for Fremont County, Wyoming April 10th

    4/11 UPDATE: AMBER Alert has been canceled. The children have been located according to the Wyoming Highway Patrol.

    UPDATE at 8:00 pm on Friday, April 10th from Amber Alert public notification:

    The vehicle is now reported to be a 2018 Dodge Journey, Grey in color.

    AMBER Alert activation on behalf of the Fremont County Sheriff’s Office. The biological mother abducted her 4 children. They were last seen in Riverton, Wyoming. It is believed they are traveling in a 2018 Grey Dodge Journey Wyoming plate 104087.

    UPDATE: Fremont County Sheriff’s Office has shared the below information and photo:

    The Fremont County Sheriff’s Office has issued an “Amber Alert” to assist in locating four children who were taken from DFS Custody on or around April 5, 2020.

    The Fremont County Sheriff’s Office learned today that on or around April 5th 2020, 30-year-old Stacia R. Potter (AKA Stacia Norris) illegally took her four children from a home where they had been placed by Tribal DFS after protective custody had been taken by Law Enforcement.

    The children are identified as Xavier Potter (YOB: 2005), Raelee Potter (YOB: 2008), Divine Potter (YOB: 2013) and David Villescas Jr (YOB: 2014). The destination and intentions of Stacia Potter are unknown but suspicious circumstances indicate that the children could be in danger.

    Stacia Potter is believed to be traveling in a dark Grey 2019 Dodge truck with temporary tag #009-0454 possibly pulling a camper trailer. Anyone who sees this vehicle, or any of the children, is urged not to confront Stacia Potter but to immediately contact Law Enforcement authorities.

    Wyoming authorities have issued an AMBER Alert Friday, April 10th for four children from Fremont County.

    While details are extremely limited at this point, multiple reports indicate a woman possibly abducted four of her biological children, ages 5, 6, 11 and 14. Details on the suspect and four children are now listed below. They were last seen on April 9, 2020 in Riverton, Wyoming.

    The suspect vehicle is being described as a black or grey 2019 Dodge pickup truck with no license plates and possibly a Fremont Motors temporary registration.  The truck may also be towing a large 5th wheel, brown and white camper with a Wyoming Tag of 10-1788.

    At 12:50 p.m. a message went out to Fremont County cell phones about the alert.

    Anyone with information on this case or believes they have seen the vehicle should contact local authorities or the Fremont County Sheriff’s office at 307-332-5611 immediately.

    County 10 will update as soon as more is released from official authorities on the situation.
