AMBER Alert canceled as Ethete boy was located safely

    An AMBER was issued shortly after 9:00 a.m. Tuesday morning across Wyoming in response to a 12-year-old boy from Ethete that went missing.

    At roughly 10:45 a.m. the alert was canceled and County 10 received confirmation from multiple law enforcement agencies and family members that the boy was located, and is safe.

    Family members extended their thanks to the public for sharing the post and voicing their concern about the missing boy.


    Wyoming residents reported receiving a text message regarding the alert around 10:45 a.m., or about the same time frame as when the alert was canceled.

    The Wyoming Department of Transportation, AMBER Alert Wyoming website, and Wyoming Highway Patrol also released updates.
