The entire county remains under a Red Flag Warning Thursday according to the National Weather Service office in Riverton.
This means fire danger is especially high due to do low moisture, gusty winds, low humidity, and generally dry conditions.
Fire safety is stressed for all residents, especially campers, motorists, and smokers. Wildfires can spread easily in the current conditions.
Riverton and Lander are expected to see temperatures reach the low 90’s with small chances of precipitation over the next week. Dubois will be just a bit cooler, with temps reaching the mid-80’s.
