    Air Quality Alert issued for portion of Central Wyoming

    (Fremont County, WY) – The Wyoming Department of Environmental Quality has issued an Air Quality Alert for much of central Wyoming, including Fremont County, today, September 6 and remains in effect until 1 pm Wednesday.

    “The wildfires in Idaho continue to produce large plumes of smoke that have moved into Wyoming and will continue to impact our air quality,” according to the National Weather Service in Riverton.
