    Air Quality Alert issued for areas of Fremont County through 1 pm Thursday

    (Fremont County, WY) – The Wyoming Department of Environmental Quality has issued an Air Quality Alert for northwestern Wyoming through 1 pm on July 22nd, according to an update from National Weather Service in Riverton.

    The alert area includes northwestern Fremont County – Dubois and Crowheart areas.

    The alert was issued due to wildfire smoke which appears in the Fire and Smoke Map to be moving into the area from wildfires to the west of Wyoming. The blue dot on map screenshot below is Dubois.
