    Air Quality Alert extended through Monday, July 26

    (Fremont County, WY) – The Air Quality Alert issued by the Wyoming Department of Environmental Quality on Friday, July 23rd, which was later extended through today, has now been extended once more through “at least tomorrow,” Monday, July 26th.

    Wildfire smoke from California and surrounding states will continue to impact Wyoming, with Fremont County areas being especially affected.

    As a reminder, young children, older adults and those with pre-existing heart and lung conditions, including asthma or heart or lung disease, are particularly at risk. Limit your outdoor activities, especially prolonged and vigorous activity.
