(Fremont County, WY) – A wildfire smoke haze continues to hang around areas of Fremont County Wednesday evening. An Air Quality Alert was expected to expire at 1 pm today, however, it has been extended to 1 pm on August 5th.

“Smoke from wildfires continues to be observed across portions of northern, western, and central Wyoming,” according to the National Weather Service in Riverton update. “The smoke is limiting visibilities at times and creating poor air quality.”
