    Active COVID cases decrease at Honor Farm in Riverton

    The Wyoming Department of Corrections released the latest confirmed positive COVID numbers at their facilities across the State today, December 7th.

    The Wyoming Honor Farm in Riverton has 10 active COVID cases within their inmate population. This is a decrease of 12 cases from the last update released on November 20th.

    Below are the reported numbers for their other facilities outside of Fremont County:

    • Wyoming Medium Correctional Institution (WMCI) Torrington – Active Covid Cases: 0
    • Wyoming Honor Conservation Camp (WHCC) Newcastle – Active Covid Cases: 2 (Staff 0, Inmates 2)
    • Wyoming Women’s Center (WWC) Lusk – Active Covid Cases: 3 (Staff 3, Inmates 0)
    • Wyoming State Penitentiary (WSP) Rawlins – Active Covid Cases: 0

    Working with the Wyoming Department of Health, all active inmate cases are medically monitored and managed by the Department and the DOC healthcare provider (Corizon Health, Inc.) in accordance with CDC guidelines.

    The Department continues conducting rigorous surveillance testing at all sites as necessary and will provide additional information as it becomes available.
