#Activate10: Shoshoni Senior Center plans first fundraiser in over a year

“Our community is large and wildly diverse, which is at the same time our strength and our weakness. #Activate10 is a movement seeking to increase communication between individuals and organizations across Fremont County and to promote positive action in our communities.”

(Shoshoni, WY) – The Shoshoni Senior Center is hosting a “Cajun Fundraiser Dinner” on Saturday, April 17th starting at 1:00 pm and going until the food is gone.

This is the nonprofit’s first fundraiser since COVID, shared Director Michelle Shepard. “We are really excited and hoping to get people to come to take part.”

The funds raised will go toward the purchase of a new van for the center. One that provides additional seating and can take the seniors around the county.

RSVPs are encouraged so they have an estimate on how much food will be needed. You can do so by calling (307) 876-2703, stopping by the center or responding to the Facebook event.
