“Our community is large and wildly diverse, which is at the same time our strength and our weakness. #Activate10 is a movement seeking to increase communication between individuals and organizations across Fremont County and to promote positive action in our communities.”
(Riverton, WY) – Fremont County School District #25 faculty member Becca Pierson is collecting formal dresses for the the Riverton High School Prom/Homecoming Closet.
“We keep several dresses on hand for girls who can’t afford the expense of a dress but want to attend one of these fun school events,” she shared with County 10. “We’re asking that as you, the community, are cleaning out your closets after prom and as kids go off to college, you will donate any unwanted dresses to our closet.”
They are especially on the lookout for dresses size 12 and up.
