Our community is large and wildly diverse, which is at the same time our strength and our weakness. #Activate10 is a movement seeking to increase communication between individuals and organizations across Fremont County and to promote positive action in our communities.

Rise of the Phoenix nonprofit was founded to help local students by raising funds for teachers to purchase what they need in the classroom. They plan to organize several fundraisers throughout the year, and all money raised will be given directly to Riverton teachers in both private and public schools.

“Teachers are pulling money out of their own pockets to supply essentials for the students, and we would like to relieve some of that stress on an annual basis,” shared founder Valerie Leseberg. Small impacts, like essential school supplies, can create an organic change for students to receive the best education possible and have a positive ripple effect on their future. “We want to help our kids so they can grow up to be healthier all around.”
