#Activate10: Lander SAR raising money for needed vehicle

“Our community is large and wildly diverse, which is at the same time our strength and our weakness. #Activate10 is a movement seeking to increase communication between individuals and organizations across Fremont County and to promote positive action in our communities.”

(Lander, WY) – 2020 held a record number of missions for our local search and rescue (SAR) teams, and there is a prediction of an equal or greater number this year as well.

The Lander SAR volunteers are currently raising money for a second response vehicle. “With a second response vehicle, we can launch missions faster and handle multiple missions better,” they shared.

They have raised half the money needed to buy a local used Jeep that meets their needs.

During the month of March, a local supporter is matching donations up to $5,000 total.
