#Activate10: Lander innovators focused on school safety holding fundraiser this weekend

Lander innovators John and Ron Cunningham are holding a pulled pork lunch/dinner fundraiser in the Palace Pharmacy parking lot (new location) on December 5th and 6th from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm (while supplies last). They are just asking folks to donate what they can for the meal.

Funds are being raised to get the school safety device, Lifebox, they have been working on for about 2 years engineered, John Cunningham shared.

Lifebox “is a safety system that combines a safe with advanced electronic functions that include a panic button, video camera, speaker, microphone, and less lethal or lethal devices for the use in the event of an intruder,” according to their website.

Once engineered, they will work to get them into schools at cost or hopefully free, Cunningham noted.

You can learn more about Lifebox on their website found here.
