#Activate10: Lander Elks Lodge hosting “Community Drive-up Meal Giveaway” on April 25th

Our community is large and wildly diverse, which is at the same time our strength and our weakness. #Activate10 is a movement seeking to increase communication between individuals and organizations across Fremont County and to promote positive action in our communities.

On Saturday, April 25th, the Lander B.P.O.E. Lodge #2317 on the corner of N 5th Street and Lincoln Street plans to giveaway 200 meals consisting of a half of a smoked chicken, potato salad and a cookie.

The giveaway is first-come, first-serve and starts at 4:00 pm. Folks are asked to remain in their vehicles and the meals will be brought to you from the Lodge’s parking lot on N 5th Street. There is a maximum of 4 meals per vehicle.

“Donations are welcome,” but not required said, B.P.O.E. Lodge #2317 Exalted Ruler Kary Sommers. “We are able to do this through member donations and $1,000 grant from the Wyoming State Elks Association (WSEA). The WSEA gave each Wyoming Lodge $1,000 to do something for the community, and this is what we are choosing to do.”

This is all about feeding the community and keeping the Lodge active while everything is closed down.

Please line-up down Lincoln Street to help make the delivery as smooth as possible and so roads are not blocked.
