#Activate10: Hudson residents revitalizing soldier memorial crosses

Our community is large and wildly diverse, which is at the same time our strength and our weakness. #Activate10 is a movement seeking to increase communication between individuals and organizations across Fremont County and to promote positive action in our communities.

Brenda McIntyre and Jerry Kendall spent the afternoon applying a fresh coat of paint to the crosses that line the front of the fence around Veterans Memorial Park in Hudson.

Along with breathing new life into the memorials, Brenda and Jerry have also hung signs of encouragement in Hudson. Brenda’s sign is at Town Hall and Jerry’s is on the fence with the crosses. So many people drive the road through Hudson, their hope is more residents will add to the signs they hung up to help spread the positivity and encouragement.

Brenda shared the Lander Ace Hardware donated the white paint for the crosses, and is very much appreciated. Both she and Jerry were happy to be outside and doing this project for the town. They hope to keep the positivity going.
