#Activate10: Gannett Peak Elementary organized end-of-year parade for Thursday

Our community is large and wildly diverse, which is at the same time our strength and our weakness. #Activate10 is a movement seeking to increase communication between individuals and organizations across Fremont County and to promote positive action in our communities.

On Thursday, May 21st, from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm Gannett Peak Elementary (GPE) Staff will line the sidewalk that runs the entire length of the parent pickup path for a “Gannett Peak Drive-Through Sidewalk Parade.”

GPE families who would like to participate are asked to start at the 5th Street entrance of parent pickup, and continue around the path to the stop sign so students and staff can wave to each other for end of school year closure.

Drivers are asked to proceed slowly, but no stopping so the flow keeps going. Once at the stop sign, to avoid traffic issues, every other vehicle is asked to turn left toward 7th and the next turn right toward 6th.
