Our community is large and wildly diverse, which is at the same time our strength and our weakness. #Activate10 is a movement seeking to increase communication between individuals and organizations across Fremont County and to promote positive action in our communities.

During the afternoon of June 24th, lifelong Riverton resident Neil Ward was in a haul truck crash north of Jeffrey City in Gas Hills. His family has shared, “It’s believed that the embankment gave way to his haul truck causing him to roll down the embankment. He was ejected and has sustained several severe injuries. He was flown to Denver, CO to receive care for those injuries.”

Neil’s son Nathan Ward, daughter Jerri Prejean and his grandson Jordan Whitener have organized a GoFundMe to help cover the cost of family staying in Denver with him, as well as, unforeseen expenses for Neil. The GoFundMe page can found by clicking here.[/et_pb_text][/et_pb_column]
