#Activate10: Eagles Hope Cornhole Tournament Fundraiser happening June 1

“Our community is large and wildly diverse, which is at the same time our strength and our weakness. #Activate10 is a movement seeking to increase communication between individuals and organizations across Fremont County and to promote positive action in our communities.”

(Riverton, WY) – Join Fremont County Cornhole for the Eagles Hope Cornhole Tournament Fundraiser on Saturday, June 1, at the Riverton Elks Lodge, 207 E. Main Street. Registration begins at 3 p.m. and bags fly at 3:30 p.m.

It’s a Doubles Tourney at $50/pair. Don’t have a partner? That’s okay! Come anyway. There are always folks looking for a partner.

There are two divisions: upper and lower. The upper division receives $150 and $100, and the lower division receives $100 and $50. Natural Health Solutions (upper) and Teton Therapy (lower) are the payout sponsors.

The taco bar and silent auction start at 5:30 p.m. Grace Andrus is the food sponsor and is cooked and served by the DOES. There will also be live music from Randall Morrison.

All proceeds raised that evening benefit Eagles Hope.

“Eagles Hope Transitions provides safe and sober transitional housing to those that want to make a positive change in their life,” shared Executive Director Michelle Widmayer. “Residents get one meal a day and everything they need at the time of intake, to start new. We provide life and job training skills, support sobriety, and Bible Studies. Our goal is for our residents to be able to become self-sustainable and productive members of the community.”
