#Activate10: Drive-in movie night in Pavillion on May 27th

Our community is large and wildly diverse, which is at the same time our strength and our weakness. #Activate10 is a movement seeking to increase communication between individuals and organizations across Fremont County and to promote positive action in our communities.

Updated on May 22nd: Bunks BBQ will not be there on the 27th.

The Town of Pavillion is hosting another drive-in movie night on Wednesday, May 27th, starting at 9:00 pm. They will be playing Hell On The Border, which is a Western/Action film. Please note it is rated R.

They are making some adjustments from their first drive-in movie night at the end of April in hopes of better accommodate everyone, shared Town of Pavillion Clerk/Treasurer Beckie Hatcher. “Because of the wind blowing the screen over last time, the guys got busy converting a cattle pod trailer into a screen. We have dubbed it our moooo-vie screen!”

They are hoping to host one every month throughout the summer, Beckie noted. “I know many requested to hold the event on the weekend, but the rec center grounds aren’t available. The only nights we had to choose from going forward were Monday or Wednesday, so the Council chose Wednesday. This event is free to attend, but donations would be appreciated.”

The Town will be operating the concession stand with basic concession items available like popcorn, candy, and drinks. Possum Pete’s will be serving from their drive-through window. Patrons are welcome to call in their orders ahead of time and pick them up on their way. Blondies will have their food truck there at 6:00 pm.

Beckie also noted they would love feedback and movie requests to help with future events. You can connect with them by clicking here.
