Abraham J Miller
Abraham J Miller passed away suddenly on November 13 at his home in Thermopolis.
Abraham was born 11/1/1934 in Wakeeney, Kansas to Edith (Maynard) Miller and Joseph Miller. Abraham grew up in Midwest, Wy and graduated from Natrona County High School in 1953 and served in the Korean War as a Corporal in the United States Marine Corp. On July 13, 1957, he married Patricia Bell and they made their home in Seminoe, Alcova and Thermopolis Wyoming where he retired from the Bureau of Reclamation in 1990.
Pat and Abe celebrated their 60th Wedding Anniversary this summer with family and enjoying their mountain home at Atlantic City. Abe was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed snowmobiling, four wheeling, riding his motorcycle, spending winters in Arizona and gathering with his many friends. Abe especially enjoyed his family and grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Abe lived a long healthy life and enjoyed his life to the fullest.
The family would like to invite friends to a celebration of life at the Thermopolis VFW on Saturday, 11/18 at 1:00. Please bring pictures, memories, and stories. In lieu of flowers please donate to your favorite charity.
Abraham is survived by his wife Patricia, daughter Darla Keever and husband Rick of Shoshoni, Cathy Lincoln and husband Rod of Riverton, brother Sidney Miller and wife Colette of Riverton, 5 grandchildren Jacob Keever and wife Sara, Justin Lincoln and his wife Angela, Travis Lincoln and fiancé Ashley Harding, Heather Wagner husband Branden and Karissa Koehler and husband Tom and 9 great-grandchildren.
He is proceeded in death by his parents Edith and Joe, his sisters Ruby Fuchs and Joann Clark.
