A new path to successful substance use treatment
Pingora Behavioral Health Clinic offers outpatient, intensive outpatient, and aftercare substance use treatment and have partnered with local medical providers to utilize medications such as Suboxone and Vivitrol to assist with the treatment of addiction. The program is committed to providing patients with the opportunity to live a sober, productive, and balanced life.
Pingora Behavioral Health Clinic uses the comprehensive opioid response with the twelve steps (COR-12) program, Cognitive Behavioral Treatment (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) and a full range of counseling to increase the success of the journey through this program. They also provide education, case management, family/friend counseling, group therapy, and other services to provide a holistic approach to recovery. Well-rounded services support patients in full, long-term recovery and an increased quality of life.
Volunteers of America, based in Sheridan, Wyoming since 1985, is operating this pilot program in Fremont County through a statewide grant from the Wyoming, Department of Health. Funding has been made possible for this program by a grant from Substance Abuse Mental Health Services Association (SAMSHA). With the support of this grant, Pingora will be able to help adults 18 and over seek treatment services at an affordable cost.
Volunteers of America is passionate about providing the best pathway to a life of recovery for clients. This program offers a much needed alternative treatment to clients in central Wyoming.
