    975 COVID vaccines expected in Fremont County Monday

    (Fremont County, WY) – The Fremont County Incident Management Team released the following information today, December 21st.

    Fremont County Health has confirmed that 975 Pfizer vaccines are en route to Fremont County today and will most likely be distributed between the hospital and other frontline workers on Wednesday, December 23. Other batches of vaccines continue to be delivered to Wind River Cares and IHS. Another batch of approximately 100 of the Moderna vaccines is scheduled to arrive next week at Fremont County Health. Public Health advises everyone to continue social distancing, wearing masks, and sanitizing for the unforeseeable future while the vaccines are distributed.

    • 8.4% Percentage of positives to total tests in Fremont County

    The rate of lab-confirmed COVID-19 cases in Fremont County is continuing to fall, however, there is concern that the number of probable cases have not dropped as much. With a drop in the number of people being tested, there is concern that the number of active cases in Fremont County are being under-reported. If you have had contact with a known positive, please be tested.

    Fremont County Public Health continues to urge everyone to wear masks, social distance at 6 feet, and use proper handwashing and sanitation techniques whenever possible.
