(Clark, WY) – The National Weather Service office in Riverton reported some top wind speeds across the state over the weekend, and one Wyoming community experienced nearly a category 2 hurricane gust.
The wind in Clark, Wyoming topped out with a 95 mph gust. Clark is an unincorporated Wyoming community along Wyoming Highway 120 in Park County.
A wind gust near Buffalo reached 82 mph and one in Sunlight Basin reached 73 mph.
