(Dubois, WY) – The Dubois High School Class of 2021 represented one of the smallest graduation classes in school history.
They anxiously waited for their cue to perform the graduate walk into the gym, left foot, together, right foot, together, and so on until they reach their assigned location.

All seven plan to pursue either higher education or the military.
Valedictorian and Class President Aidan Slider spoke about his classmate’s quirks and offered advice to keep achieving their goals. Slider also recently earned the rank of Eagle Scout.

Salutatorian Taryn Seabolt, gave her address to the graduates, reminding them of their closeness as a small class. She will be attending the University of Wyoming in the Teachers Program.

The first for a Dubois graduation was the Presentation of Colors by the Dubois Girl Scouts.

Each graduate presented their parents with white flower leis.

Aaron Linsdau gave the commencement address. He grew up in the Dubois/Jackson area in a very humble tar-papered home and is well known for his epic solo journey across Antarctica to the South Pole.

He pulled from his bag some of the gear he used to survive. He spoke about the virtues of perseverance and resistance. Linsdau expressed to the graduates how to use failure to gain success.

School Board Chair Jerry Falco presented graduates with their diplomas Sunday.
The Class of 2021 includes James William Dowd, Gage Keith Gleim, Charles Alexander Jennings, Alayna-Belen Perez, Taryn Kea Seabolt, Aiden David Slider and Jaryd Scott Wells.
The culmination of the event was tossing their decorated caps into the air, signifying the end of their high school careers.
