The 6th annual Chalk the Walk event took place Wednesday night at the Riverton Branch Library.
The tradition has become a staple in the middle of the July Riverton Rendezvous events. Artists decorate a slab of sidewalk with colorful creations, and local musicians provide entertainment.
This year, Lander’s Low Water String Band was the musical act.
Artists competed in three different categories, here were the big winners, and photos of their creations below:
ADULT:

TEEN:
1st Place – Tristen Willie (Square 19, girl)
2nd Place – Peter Fahey (Square 14, Spiderman)
3rd Place – Emma Ramage (Square 18, frog)
FAMILY:
1st Place – DeClerq Family (Square 30, unicorn scene)
2nd Place – Bott Family (Square 26, Curious George)
