John Preston Jackson, 65, from Casper was sentenced on October 11, 2018 for possession with intent to distribute oxycodone, and possession of a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime.
Judge Nancy D. Freudenthal sentenced Jackson to 120 months (10 years) of imprisonment. That is to be followed by 36 months of supervised release, and he was ordered to pay restitution in the amount of $400.
Jackson was arrested in Casper. The Wyoming Division of Criminal Investigation and Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosive Devices investigated this case.
