(Cheyenne, WY) – David Russell Tarver, a Wyoming inmate, died Friday, May 6th 2022, at the Wyoming Medium Correctional Institution in Torrington, according to a release issued by the Wyoming Department of Corrections (WDOC).
Tarver was born on June 19, 1960 in Fort Worth, TX, and was convicted of Second Degree Sexual Abuse of a Minor in Laramie County.
Tarver was sentenced to 18 to 20 years in the First Judicial District Court in Cheyenne by Judge Arnold on November 15, 2010.
Per WDOC policy, an autopsy will be conducted to determine the cause of death.
The WDOC does not release protected health information.
