    377 new COVID cases reported in Fremont County in the last 7 days

    Fremont County Incident Management Team has released the following information and statistics today, November 16th.


    Current Statistics for Fremont County COVID-19:

    • 599 Active COVID-19 cases in Fremont County
    • 300 Probable positive test results (lives with positive or Antigen tests)
    • 377 New lab-confirmed positives in Fremont County last 7 days
    • 22 Deaths due to COVID-19 in Fremont County
    • 12.2% Percentage of positives to total tests in Fremont County
    • 17 Current Hospitalizations due to COVID-19 in Fremont County

    The rate of lab-confirmed COVID-19 cases in Fremont County is continuing to rise. Fremont County Public Health continues to urge everyone to wear masks, social distance at 6 feet, and use proper handwashing and sanitation techniques whenever possible.  The following graphics represent guidance from the CDC on wearing masks.

    COVID-19 At-Home Testing:

    Wyoming offers free at-home COVID-19 testing through a company called Vault. These tests are available to Wyoming residents at no cost; insurance is not necessary. This saliva-based test does not require a nasal swab. The test uses high-quality laboratory technology for a high level of effectiveness.
