Grab your fishing pole, some bait, and head over to the Big Bend Ponds at the end of Monroe in Riverton to catch the “jumbo-sized” channel catfish that Wyoming Game and Fish Department recently stocked in ponds 5 and 6.
The catfish are from the Wyoming Women’s Center in Lusk from their in-house aquaculture program, according to WGFD, and are 13 to 14-inches making them “jumbo-sized.” This is the first time Game and Fish has worked with the center.
As a heads up, you might have a little fishing competition with this feathered friend who was spotted at the ponds today…
