    300+ acre wildfire reported near Ten Sleep Tuesday

    (Ten Sleep, WY) – The Bureau of Land Management shared Tuesday afternoon that the Brokenback Creek Fire is burning about 5 miles NW of Ten Sleep and is currently ~300-350 acres.

    Interagency resources, including multiple aircraft, are responding, according to the BLM update. The cause of the fire is under investigation and no structures are immediately threatened.

    According to the Fire and Smoke Map, the Brokenback Creek Fire looks to be on the opposite side of the Robinson Fire which is south of Buffalo on the east side of the Bighorn Mountains.
