2nd round of grants distributed from Lander Community Foundation COVID-19 Relief Fund

On Friday, May 15, 2020, the Lander Community Foundation distributed $5,250 to two organizations that are providing immediate, frontline support to Lander community members impacted by COVID-19. This second round of LCF COVID-19 Relief Fund grants went to organizations providing procurement of personal protective equipment (PPE) and providing financial assistance, toiletries, and food to families.

LCF will continue to provide financial support to Lander organizations responding to the needs of those directly impacted by COVID-19 throughout the coming months. Organizations are encouraged to request funding from the LCF COVID-19 Relief Fund if they need help. Additionally, organizations may receive more than one grant from the Relief Fund.

“To date, LCF has received over $96,000 from 90 individuals and companies to the LCF COVID-19 Relief Fund. Every day I find myself in awe of the generosity of our community and those living outside of Lander. It’s clear to me that Lander and our community is appreciated by many near and far,” comments executive director Mary Greene.

LCF expects the scale and scope of the community’s needs to evolve and grow in the coming weeks. Therefore, the foundation is dedicated to adapting to these changing needs and making the greatest impact we can through the Relief Fund and other community-based COVID response programs.
