29-year-old Fremont County resident Jacob Bain died in a one-vehicle accident between Dubois and Crowheart early Thursday morning.

Wyoming Highway Patrol said that around 2:30 a.m. Bain and a female occupant were both ejected from a Dodge Ram pickup truck near milepost 68.

The truck was traveling westbound and approached a right-hand curve. The vehicle overcorrected after drifting to the right, then rolled, until hitting a power pole.

The female was transported via helicopter to the Lander hospital. Her condition is not known at this time.

Neither occupant was wearing a seat belt.

Alcohol and driver fatigue are listed as possible contributing factors from the Wyoming Highway Patrol.
