2024 Pabst Peak Scholarship recipients named

(Lander, WY) – Pabst Peak LLC founder Trey Massey shared with County 10 the 2024 scholarship recipients: Morgan Hill, Madi Clancy, and Ty Martin. They each received $1,000.

“Thank you to all that applied and I’m hoping next year we can give away 4 or 5 scholarships,” Massey noted.

Pabst Peak was started in 2020 as a way for hunters to post their success in the outdoors and to sell hats and clothing. It has now expanded to helping others, no matter the circumstances.

Pabst Peak Company is working to become a foundation that gives back to the local community and helps those in need.

“Last year, we awarded one scholarship and gave Alex Sanders almost two thousand dollars in her fight against bone marrow cancer,” Massey explained.

They have raised their funds through a golf tournament for two years.

“This year, Pabst Peak had an amazing golf tournament,” Massey shared. “The golf course and restaurant profited around four thousand dollars in total combined. There were five thousand raised for the scholarship and raffle prizes for all the participants in the golf tournament. For it only being the second year it was an awesome turnout of 77 total players. I can’t wait until next, hopefully the event and sponsorships continue to grow, so more scholarships are raised.”
