2020 Wyoming Women of Influence nominees announced

A few Fremont County women have been nominated for the 8th annual Wyoming Women of Influence Award. This annual award is organized by the Wyoming Business Report (WBR) and honors women leaders from all across Wyoming.

A few of the local 2020 nominees were featured on County 10 earlier this year for their new nonprofit. Darrah Perez-Good Voice Elk and Deneica Barrett were both nominated in the nonprofit category for Wind River Grow Our Own 307.

Also making the list from Fremont County in the healthcare category is Westward Heights Care Center Administrator Natalie Korell. Bureau of Land Management Abandoned Mine Lands Archaeologist Gina Clingerman joins the list as well under the government and economic development category.

The list of nominees is extensive, so apologies if we missed anyone from Fremont County. Let us know and we will update. All of the nominees can be found by clicking here.

Honoree selection is done by the WBR Editor and event producers. They will review all submissions and factor in the past honoree selections to determine the 2020 Women of Influence Honorees. Last year, a banquet was held in September to announce the selected honorees. The exact plan this year has not been determined by WBR at this point.

Check out our post from last year to see who from Fremont County was selected as an honoree.

    Congratulations to everyone nominated!
