Throughout his time as a Mayor and Senator, Chafee identified as a Republican. In 2007, he changed affiliation to Independent. In 2012, he announced his support of Barrack Obama and the Democratic party.

Now, Chafee has joined the Libertarian Party. He has aspirations to become the party’s candidate for United States President in 2020. He addressed those aspirations with us at County 10, but has not officially announced his candidacy as of November 2019.

Lincoln recently was invited to the Porter’s 10Cast studio and sat down to chat with Riverton Local Ladies Podcast host Bethany Baldes.

He and Baldes chat about a wide variety of national and Wyoming political issues, why he decided to relocate to the Equality State, and all about their love for the great outdoors.
