    2019 Pedigree Stage Stop Dog Sled Race Photo Gallery

    Okay, we may have overdone it a bit with the number of photos in this gallery, but it’s hard not to when there are cute dogs all around.

    The 2019 Pedigree Stage Stop Dog Sled Race departed Lander beginning at 9:00 a.m. Wednesday morning. It was a staggered start for the 24 teams still racing. Teams of 10 dogs and of 8 dogs began racing up the switchbacks. They’ll make a 27-mile round trip venture today from Bruce’s Bridge to Fiddler’s Lake, and back.

    Before the day started, two-time defending champion Lina Streeper of British Columbia, Canada is in first place in the 10-dog race. Anny Malo from Quebec, Canada is in second-place, And Quebec, Canada’s Erick Laforce is in third.

    The race bgan January 25th in Jackson and continues to Driggs, Idaho and back in Teton County, finishing on February 2nd.
