    2 local elementary schools receive bikes for kindergarten PE

    (Wind River Reservation, WY) – Through fundraising efforts spearheaded by members of the Lander Cycling Club and one private anonymous donor, both Wyoming Indian Elementary and Fort Washakie Elementary schools received bikes for their kindergarten physical education classes.

    The Strider bikes, helmets, pedal conversion kits, curriculum, and more provided to the schools are part of the All Kids Bike Kindergarten PE Program, a national movement to get kiddos on two wheels.

    This fundraising effort began nearly a year ago by community member Mike Lilygren, who previously led efforts to bring the program to Gannett Peak Elementary in Lander.

    In addition, Mike shared Thomas Pede and Alyssa Wechsler were part of the committee and helped make this possible.
