2 DUI-accidents in Riverton Sunday; RPD responded to two dozen alcohol-related calls last weekend

The Riverton Police Department responded to 24 different alcohol-related calls between Friday afternoon and Sunday night.

In total, there were nine alcohol-related calls between 2:44 p.m. – midnight Friday, ten calls regarding alcohol use on Saturday, and five more alcohol-related calls on Sunday.

While Sunday was the slowest day of the weekend for the volume of calls, it was the busiest day for the “severity” of the calls.

RPD arrested three people for Driving Under The Influence. Two of those DUI calls came after the driver had crashed into something.

At 2:21 a.m. Sunday morning, 27-year-old Tylor Brown was arrested for DUI and leaving the scene of an accident on North Broadway. It was not immediately known if the accident was with a vehicle or property.

At 2:38 a.m. 20-year-old Lauren Antelope was charged with Driving Under The Influence.

And Sunday evening, at 10:16 p.m. 27-year-old Quinn Duran was arrested for Driving Under The Influence, Leaving The Scene Of An Accident, and Interference. The police report shows that Duran’s vehicle had a “beat up windshield,” however it is also not immediately known what kind of accident he was involved in.

Additionally, Saturday at 5:00 a.m. a 30-year-old Iowa man, Agnassi Johnson was arrested by RPD for Driving Under The Influence and Open Container.

Below is a breakdown of alcohol-related calls RPD received last weekend. It is important to note that in some of these calls, the suspects were not located or the threat was unfounded. This is strictly the log of how many times RPD responded to alcohol-related calls.
