1st local candidate forum happening Wednesday in Lander

The League of Women Voters of Fremont County and County 10 announce the first of several candidate forums of the 2020 election season.

On Wednesday, September 16th from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm Wyoming House District 54 (Lander and Hudson area) candidates Lloyd Larsen (R) and Kevin Wilson (D) will participate in a public forum at the Lander Public Library Carnegie Room.

The forum will be live-streamed by County 10 through Wind River Internet and can be viewed on County 10’s website, YouTube channel, and Facebook page. Click on any of the 3 links to watch live Wednesday night.

Due to strict COVID-19 requirements, only 25 participants will be admitted to attend in-person at the Carnegie Room as an audience member. Additionally, all in attendance will be required to wear a mask; no exceptions allowed. Doors open at 6:00 pm, and registration is required to attend in-person. Fremont County Commission: District 5 – Travis Gary Barney (Unaffiliated), Polly Hinds (D), Jennifer McCarty (R), Bob Townsend (I); and District 2 – Larry Allen (R) on Wednesday, September 30, 2020, from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm. Stay tuned for a location announcement.

Fremont County School District #1 (at large): Kathy Hitt, Taylor Jacobs, Scott Jensen, Kami Patik-Poledna, Cherry Plaisted, Hailey Redden, Sarah Reilley, Tim Watkins on Thursday, October 1, 2020, from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm. Stay tuned for a location announcement.
