$194,400 emergency grant funds approved for Dubois Waste Water Treatment Plant today

The Town of Dubois requested emergency grant funding from the State Loan and Investment Board (SLIB) to replace the liner in cell #2 at the Waste Water Treatment Plant.

During the SLIB meeting today, August 6th, they approved $194,400, the total requested, in emergency Mineral Royalty Grant funding to finance the project. The remaining 10% of the match funding, $21,600, will be provided by the town from the sewer reserves.

The tear in the liner of cell #2 was discovered last summer, and could only be fixed by replacing the liner completely. The complete application and details of the project provided to SLIB can be viewed here.
