    17 graduate from Fort Washakie High School Saturday

    2019 Graduation coverage on County 10 is presented by Central Wyoming College.

     

    Fort Washakie High School’s graduation ceremony was held Saturday morning. 17 seniors received their diplomas.

    FWHS Principal Brandon Ray expressed his happiness for the students on their big day, but that himself and the staff would miss the outgoing class.

    Cory Higgs, Physical Education instructor, was chosen by the senior class as the graduation speaker. Higgs encouraged the seniors and spoke about individual memories he’d have of each of the graduates.

    Mia Moss and A’Kai Greybull were class valedictorians and gave a co-speech thanking their classmates and instructors for the help and memories.

    Other graduates included Devlynn Jaylin Appeney, Waylon Lee BirdChief, Kendall Algene Blossom, Kenyon Darzelle James Brown, Tristan Lane Harris, Alainia Jade Hereford, Isabeil Rosa Niedo, Pistol Wyleen Plentyhoops, Roshane Kay Quiver, Cecilia Jordan Dee Rodriguez, Jacina Shelby Standing Rock, Jadin Pernell Tillman, Kobe Curtis Tillman, Kadence Myran Vasquez,and  Lorenzo Adrian Vierra.

    The class song was “Young Forever” by Jay-Z and the class quote was, “Sometimes you find out what you are supposed to be doing by doing the things you are no supposed to do.” – Oprah Winfrey
